"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." – Nelson Mandela
At 2 End The Stigma, we believe that knowledge is one of the strongest tools in the fight against the opioid crisis. This belief was reinforced during our recent visit to New Hope Academy, where we had the privilege of speaking with both students and staff about the dangers of fentanyl and opioid addiction.
An Engaged and Inquisitive Audience
From the moment we began our presentation, it was evident that the students were eager to learn. Their curiosity, insightful questions, and deep engagement showed us that they were truly thinking about the impact of this crisis. You could see the wheels turning as they processed the information, and that’s exactly why these conversations are so important.
A Powerful Collaboration
We were honored to once again partner with our Silent No More team, a collaboration that strengthens our mission of education and awareness. By sharing Scott’s story, we hope to not only educate but also inspire action, ensuring that no more lives are lost to this preventable epidemic.
Together, We WILL End the Stigma
Each conversation, each presentation, and each shared story brings us one step closer to breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and saving lives. We are grateful to New Hope Academy for welcoming us and to every student and staff member who took part in this important discussion.
The fight against fentanyl and opioid addiction is far from over, but together, we WILL continue to End The Stigma.
